The CowParade Bucharest 2005 Charity Auction, benefiting Special Olympics Romania, will take place on Monday, 12 September, at the Liviu Rebreanu Hall of the National Theatre, at 20.00 (local time). Hosted by Mihaela Radulescu, and conducted by Alexandru Ghildus, the Auction gives you the opportunity to purchase one of the cows that filled Bucharest with color this summer.

Cows dressed by Doina Levintza and Razvan Ciobanu, decorated by Ioan Nemtoi and Alexandru Ghildus or painted by Valeriu Mladin and Cristi Puiu, as well as cows decorated by talented young artists are waiting for you to take them home!

Denise, the lead cow in the CowParade Bucharest 2005, designed by Mariana Ioanitescu, moved to the JW Marriott Grand Hotel in Bucharest. She will remain at the Marriott, living it up in 6-star quality service, until the end of CowParade Bucharest 2005 in September.

1 June 2005 Official City-wide Celebration

Welcome the cows to Bucharest atop the National Theater at La Motor. This family-style event took place right after International Children's Day, incorporating live entertainment, games, food and fun with the zany excitement generated by the arrival and overnight appearance of 50 cows around the city.
